Terms and Conditions for the National Lumpia Day Lumpia Eating Competition

Eligibility:

1. Open to individuals 18 years of age or older or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher.

2. Employees of the organizer, sponsors, and their immediate family members are ineligible.

Competition Rules:

1. Participants have 10 minutes to consume as much lumpia as possible.

2. Consumption of lumpia provided by the organizers only.

3. Adherence to instructions from competition officials is mandatory.

4. Utensils are prohibited; participants must use their hands.

5. Leaving the designated area during the competition is not allowed.

6. Judges will determine winners based on lumpia quantity consumed. Tie-breakers will be conducted if necessary.

Prizes:

1. 1st Place: Free lumpia for a year (conditions apply).

2. 2nd and 3rd Place: Free tickets to the Adobo Throwdown Cooking Competition and Food Expo, plus lumpia-themed merchandise.

3. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Health and Safety:

1. Participants certify they are in good health and acknowledge the risks of competitive eating.

2. Organizers may disqualify any participant for medical concerns.

Media and Publicity:

1. Participants allow the use of their name, image, and performance for promotion without compensation.

2. Media materials related to the competition are property of the organizers.

Liability Waiver:

Participants release the organizers, sponsors, and their agents from claims, liabilities, and damages related to participation or prize usage.

General:

1. Organizers reserve the right to cancel or modify the competition.

2. Organizer and judge decisions are final.

3. Agreement to all terms is required for participation.

Acknowledgment:

I understand and agree to the Terms and Conditions, including the Liability Waiver, and voluntarily participate in the National Lumpia Day Lumpia Eating Competition.
